About Artist
Tamsin Haggis trained at The Berkshire School of Art, Reading and St Martin’s School of Art, London, and also has a degree in Indian Art and Architecture from SOAS, University of London, a Masters in Education, and ten years of post-doctoral level publication in the field of Education. Initially working as a teacher to fund her art practice, she lived and worked in Switzerland, Italy, India, Japan and Australia, before returning to the UK in 1998 to take up a post as an academic teacher and researcher at The University of Stirling, Scotland. She returned to full-time art practice in 2008, and had a large, multi-disciplinary solo show in the Stirling Fringe in 2013. Her work is in private collections in Canada, Europe, Japan, the USA, South Africa, Australia, and the UK.
