Ronald Buchan

I am an Oil Painter based in Edinburgh, Scotland. My work is deeply influenced by the city’s rich history, as well as it’s stunning architecture. I am fascinated by how the city’s past is intertwined with its present and I strive to capture that duality in my painting. I believe that oil paint is the perfect medium to express the depth and richness of Edinburghs history and the beauty of it’s landscape. I hope that my paintings will inspire others to see the city in a new light, and to appreciate it’s unique character.
