Olena Illichova 

Member of National Union of Artists of Ukraine 


1979 Finished the Odessa State Art College by Grekov M. 

1986 Graduated the Odessa Pedagogical Institute by Ushinsky K. 

K.Taught Painting and Drawing in the Odessa State Art College by Grekov M. for several years. 

The artist has been working as an independent painter since 1980. 

She participated in more than 105 all-union, Ukrainian, International exhibitions. 15 biennial exhibitions. She became the author of many art projects and she had a lot of personal exhibitions.

The Master’s works are kept in Museums and in private collections all over the World. 

"Elena has not yet said the final word about the world and herself, and in this understatement one can feel the hidden power: for Ilyicheva the question is no longer: "how?" - the important problem is: "what?". The technique of her works is such that it is difficult to confuse Ilyicheva with anyone. Pagan love for the world of animated nature and penetration into the soul of man-made things; delight in the element of colors and the severity of forms - all this flashes on Ilyicheva's canvases with a myriad of golden highlights, flows like molten gold ... The world of Elena Ilyicheva is so condensed-material that in her best works it condenses to a myth: super-dense matter that glows in itself, draws in and does not let go."
