Exhibition opening of "Scotland Road to Venice" by Proseed Collective

We would like to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming exhibition, "Scotland Road to Venice" by Proseed Collective.

The exhibition opening will take place at 24 Art Gallery on Saturday, 1st of JUNE, from 5 PM to 8 PM, and will run until the 14th of June.

The exhibition will feature 42 artists from across the UK. It is a satellite exhibition of Proseed Collective, currently being showcased at the Venice Biennale. The exhibition is inspired by Daniel Ibbotson from Carlisle, the founder of Proseed Collective.

As curator Daniel Ibbotson says about the exhibition: “This exhibition includes over 30 artists from Cumbria and across the UK who are currently on show at this year's Venice Biennale. My aim as curator is to showcase the variety of talent that I have come across on my travels and provide a mixture of contemporary and traditional styles.”

The featured artists include: Tom Adams, Brigitte Bregagna, Emily Brooks, Carlo Castelvecchi, Dominic Doble, Heather Doble, Kate Durdy, Martin Evans, Polly Marix Evans, Barbara Findlay, Kirsten Gilder, Rachel Gibson, Lily Greenwood, Sadia Gul Ibrahim, Daniel Ibbotson, Sarah Tew, Emma J Lock, Carolyn Marr, Mick McNicholas, Caroline Nash, Gillian Naylor, Jan Huntley Peace, Eddie Potts, Steve Meyfroidt, Rebecca Stones, Alan Stones, Sophie Steadman, Vince Smith, Shirley Johnson, Molly Hughes, Alex Jacob Whitworth, Andrew Watson, Craig Wishart, Kerry Wishart, Paul Whittaker, Dennis Houlihan, Troy Slater, Malcolm Wilson, Fliss Watts, and Yvette Ja.
