William Littlejohn

WILLIAM LITTLEJOHN RSA (1929-2006) 

Distinguished painter in oil, watercolour and mixed media, who played a significant part in the history of Scottish art. Studied at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen and at Hospitalfield, the summer school for promising young painters in Arbroath, later becoming head of fine art at Gray's. Throughout his career he exhibited successfully in the UK and internationally, notably at the Royal Scottish Academy, who elected him a full member. Littlejohn's works can be found in no less than 14 public collections across the UK as well as in many private collections, including that of King Charles.
