HENRY MOORE (1898-1986)
Henry Spencer Moore is Britain's most famous sculptor, best known for his monumental bronze statues of semi-abstract human forms, which are located around the world as public works of art. He also produced many works on paper.
This hand-made, pencil-signed drypoint etching (shown = opposite) is one of only ten produced in 1969, in conjunction with his bronze of the same name. The sculpture itself is located in the Dusseldorf Hofgarten, Germany's first and oldest park. A rare chance to own an original work by one of the world's greatest and best-known 20 h century artists.
