Andrew Fitzpatrick is a Scottish Postwar & Contemporary painter who was born in 1966. Andrew Fitzpatrick's work has been offered at auction multiple times. Andrew Fitzpatrick's recent works has been a series of oils on Argentine Tango, which fits with a desire to depict elegance in the human figure and harmonious interaction between men and women. He took tango lessons for over a year before his first picture on the subject. Born in Greenock, Andrew Fitzpatrick graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1988. In his early twenties he received 2 Elizabeth Greenshields awards, which enabled him to travel and work in Italy and Spain, producing figure compositions conveying a timeless lack of action. He has had one man shows, notably in Edinburgh and Amsterdam and has exhibited in many group shows across Britain.
